Jumpsuit.. its slowly becoming a staple piece for the wardrobe!

FashionMy Style

I have a thing for a nice Jumpsuit, I have done for a long time. I particularly love tailored ones. A jumpsuit is easy you don’t really have to put too much thought into it. And best of all it looks well and is easily styled.

lace

This beautiful jumpsuit was from a little boutique in Waterford called Bella Dungarvan its another one of our little gem of Irish Boutiques, and they are constantly stocking gorgeous bits. I spotted this on their facebook page it was on sale for less than €40, and an absolute bargain I had to have it! The girls are so helpful and you can order over the phone too if you are not near the boutique. They update facebook all the time with gorgeous bits that land in store. And girls they constantly have fabulous bits so definitely well worth the follow. As you know I’m all about affordable pieces and they have gorgeous bits that wont break the bank.

Lace jumpsuit

The jumpsuit fitted perfectly, its tailored but the top part which is completely lace add a little bit of elegance to it. I love that its black as black never dates and always looks well. I paired it with these Penneys heels but I would also pair it with sandals too and you can play around with the shoe colour or design.

jumpsuit

Here’s a better look at the top part as you can see its completely lace and I love the fact it has long sleeves. The jumpsuit is by a brand called Closet London, and for me their fit is always true to size and nicely tailored.

Although this is sold out in Bella Boutique but you will find my exact one here or similar jumpsuit here in Zara

Have you a favourite type Jumpsuit?

Until next time

Communions and what to wear Part 1

Fashion and Beauty BlogMy Style

IMG_7121

Around this time I always get the private messages from my fabulous girls looking for a communion/confirmation outfit. Whatever it is there is always a panic about what to wear for these two particular occasions. Is it because its neither a wedding or a dinner and its somewhere in between?..I guess we all seem to put pressure on ourselves for these particular occasions. Unnecessary pressure too, seriously girls if you think hard enough about it, I’d bet you have something sitting in your wardrobe already you just haven’t thought about how to wear it differently.

For example take this skirt in the pic above, this is old about a year or two old. Its a Penney’s skirt a bargain buy and as I have two communions this year to my two equally gorgeous nieces, I’ve had to wreck my brains and wardrobe as to what to wear as I don’t want to purchase something new that I might never wear again! Hence why this skirt was pulled out.

IMG_7103

Its a neutral pink colour and can be matched with all different types of other colours, grey’s, whites you name it. I know there is similar skirts available here here, & here. Its a nice colour and the midi lenght is suitable for this type of occasion.  The beauty about the colour of this skirt is its always in season, and perfect for summer too. Its always good to have a neutral colour skirt like this hanging in the wardrobe as you’ll wear it over and over again.

IMG_7116

I paired it with a lace tshirt I picked up before christmas in Zara. They are still in stock as they are proving to be very popular and go with absolutely everything in the wardrobe. At €17.95 they are so affordable too. You’ll find them here, just make sure you pair them with high waisted skirts or jeans as it is a slight bit short in lenght. Lace tends to look good with everything and this two together work perfectly and are dressy enough for a communion.

The shoes are Savida and old stock but any nude heel/sandal or black heels will work with an outfit like this.

IMG_7108

I’ll pull together more looks in the next few days to help you figure out what to wear, I also think girls, skirts and tops are a nice change to wearing dresses for these type of occasion. Plus you have more of a chance of wearing the outfit again be it a top with jeans or the skirt with a different type of top.

Hope this helps and stay tuned for more

Until next time

Love Pam

Winter looks this season…My style!

Fashion and Beauty BlogMy Style

IMG_6466

Its cold and then its warm quiet confusing really for winter weather isnt it?? Anyway this is one of my go to outfits ..its simple, even on the edge off being boring with the all black but it works by just throwing on a hat!

IMG_6468

I picked up this hat last year in Parfois but seriously girls they do fabulous ones that last a lifetime! The jumper is a 2 in 1 with frilled collar and hem..I got it from Littlewoods, its the v by very brand, and it is available here for €32 which is a bargain. They also have it in pale pink too which would be gorgeous in Spring with white jeans!

IMG_6467

The jeans are Freddy as previous post and are so warm and comfy.

IMG_6469

Shoes are Caris Closet think they still have them in stock here I got mine about two years ago but they have lasted ages.

So like I said girls the outfit is nice and simple but definitely a handy one to throw on and head off out for lunch, shopping even if you’re shopping pop on a pair of trainers and it will still look smart!

Hope you like and I’ll have loads more looks to follow

Until next time

Cork Fashion Hub ..What I wore

FashionMy Style

What a weekend ladies!!Phew Half dead after it 🙂

It was so quick but great fun….as you know from my snaps (@pamsfashion) Friday kicked off with Cork Fashion week.

It was a fantastic night in the Castlemartyr Hotel, with some amazing new Irish Designers showcasing their creations but I’ll have more on that later..

rsz_dsc_1247

I know a few of you were asking about my outfit for Day 2 of Cork fashion week, which was the Fashion Hub at Cork Opera House. So here’s the details!

I wore a coat from Vanilla Boutique, for more details contact the girls here  its a stunning piece and can also be worn as a dress.

rsz_dsc_1245

I popped a studded gold belt that I got a few years ago in mango around the waistband. The cuffs on this piece are so unique and matched the gold of the belt.

rsz_dsc_1326_2

The cuffs are almost like separate bracelets, I love them! The bag was a gift from my husband.

The pants are Freddy jeans and you can buy them here

I will have a couple of more blog posts on Cork Fashion week with all the details on what we got up too.

Thanks to everyone for all the messages

Until next time
