My christmas party dress!

Fashion and Beauty BlogMy Style

IMG_6568

So there’s been lots of parties over the Christmas..loads of fun to be had…I had one already but we’ve a few planned from Stephens day onwards…now we can all be broke trying to buy some party dresses. But when I spotted this one in Penneys I thought yep this will definitely be worn loads over the Christmas!

IMG_6576

Its so comfy and reminds me a little bit of the self portrait dress except its incredible comfy and not a bit stiff the material that is! Its a lace style but it was the price that surprised me, at €25 it had to go in my wardrobe! It comes in a gorgeous wine colour too but I always think black never goes out of fashion, particularly a little black dress!

IMG_6581

The back of it is so lovely too its see through which makes it even nicer and I love the long sleeves.

IMG_6573

In fact I’m dressed head to toe in Penneys, the fur scarf is penneys last season but they have lots of other colours in stock at the moment..navy, mink, grey and lots of others! The shoes are penneys are so comfy the back detail in the heel is lovely with a lace up.

Hope you liked this look, its such a fun dress and at that price you cant leave it behind!

Until next time

Love Pam xx

I just cannot stop thinking about the amazing collection we saw the other day at their Spring Summer launch for 2017…I want to fast forward to Summer right now..the metallics, studs, embroidery was splashed on every piece of clothing you could spot at the launch and it was amazing!!!

Gingham design in dresses and tops are creeping in..and bold mustard colours, and watch out for that delicate embroidered lace which I’m still dreaming about. It is divine!

Keeping it girlie with a Bomber jacket

Fashion and Beauty BlogMy Style

IMG_5836

Previously I posted a fab bomber jacket from Vanilla Boutique, and I think I’m currently having a love affair with bombers lately.

They are so easy to just thrown on over anything…this time round I threw them on with a cute skirt, and anything that’s not to hard to dress up or down is always a winner in my books!

IMG_5844

This bomber I picked up in new look in the sale for €18, couldnt just leave it there at that price. its a lovely comfy bomber, and the material is soft and breathable not stiff! Some sizes available here.

IMG_5839

The skirt is so comfy and its a fine knit kick out hem skirt from Penneys, there are still some available at the moment. Fringe boots are oldies from Dunne Stores. But you can find similar here.

IMG_5835

The black jumper underneath is Zara which I picked up last year but its a basic piece so they restock it every season and you’ll find it online here.

My hair was styled by the fabulous Aisling all her details are here and I popped a hairband in from New Look that cost me €4.99, my latest obsession by the way!!

All pics were by the Emer Irish Fashaholic  whose talents are never ending..

Hope you enjoy it as much as I did shooting these pics

Pleated skirts…keeping it semi casual!

FashionMy Style

IMG_5892

Pleated skirts are everywhere….similar to the tulle skirt…although not as fuller a skirt.

I love the pleated skirt, I was afraid of it at first as I always thought it would make my hips look larger than they were, but the way they have designed them with more of a floatier feel in the material, tends to sit better on my shape.

IMG_5853

The skirt is penneys and sits lovely, it feels so comfortable too, Asos are currently during a similar one here

IMG_5908

In fact the whole outfit is penneys apart from the headband which is new look and heels as before from Littlewoods for €15 here, the jumper is current stock and can be worn larger or neater which I went for, as my skirt was quiet floaty.

IMG_5859

As I said I paired it with nude heels but for an even more casual look you could pair it with white trainers and it would still look good

How to dress a tulle skirt!

FashionMy Style

IMG_5731

It was all the rage last year and still sticking around this year but perhaps in darker colours…none the less the tulle skirt is here to stay!

I love a tulle skirt, always have a princess moment when I throw one on!! Notions!!! haha This beauty is from Hazel Comyn design. Hazel an Irish designer has amazing pieces and will be featuring her new collection at Cork Fashion week in the next few weeks. Find more beautiful pieces here

They are so feminine and can be worn anyway and still look fabulous. In this post and the next, I’ll share how I dress mine!!

IMG_5751

I love to throw sweatshirts or jumpers over them. And this is one of my favourite ways to wear them. Because a tulle is so dressy its nice to throw something casual on with them (If you don’t want to go all out!!). The beauty about Hazels tulle skirts is you can turn them inside out and wear it as a satin skirt, so its like getting two skirts for one!! Amazing!

IMG_5760

I paired it with this Penneys boat neck fine knit jumper, its just so comfy, goes nicely with the skirt as its not too fussy, just nice and plain. The earrings are parfois for €7.99. Hair was by the fabulous Aisling Kelleher who is a Freelance Bridal & Event hair specialist, I mean she literally done this upstyle in 2 mins no joke!! Shes amazing…find Aisling’s details here

IMG_5749

The shoes are old from New Look (Bit dressy for this outfit but I would also pair flats or white sneakers with this look) Similar heels here

IMG_5746

Pics are by Emer @Irishfashaholic, I can’t tell you enough how much fun we have during these days shooting, Emer has an amazing talent behind the lens!

Hope you guys like the look!

Casual Series: Jeans from day to night

FashionMy StyleUncategorized

IMG_5694

Everyone loves jeans, not only because they go with absolutely everything but are easy to dress up or down

So I couldn’t do a post on jeans, without showing you how to dress from day to night…I had my flats on with these earlier in the day (see previous posts for nude flats ) but by popping on a pair of heels on in the evening I’m ready for a night out!

rsz_20160922_163035_resized

This Bomber is from  Vanilla Boutique and was reduced to €35, its perfect with jeans for day or night time. Its got embellished details running it through it which makes it a little bit dressier. I guess that’s one reason why I love bomber jackets too, they go with everything. Check out a previous post I did a few weeks back on some of my favourite bombers here

rsz_20160922_163004_resized

A closer look of the embellishments running through it!

IMG_5695

Popping a pair of heels can transform any outfit, these heels were a bargain from Littlewoods at €15 which you can find here

Jeans are just super to throw on with any top/jumper/jacket and head out the door, These ones again are the penneys jeans but some of my all time favourite pair of jeans are Salsa and Zara jeans.

Casual Series: Jeans Part 2

FashionMy Style

What a day guys, its been 90..none the less I said I’d follow up on this casual series, so here it is another casual look from my wardrobe

IMG_5712

So this is me casually lingering around pink walls!! Ha kidding..(Pic Emer @Irishfashaholic)…the whole outfit is Penneys best!!

From Shoes to Sweatshirt. I love this look as its so simple and easy to wear, great for running after my 2 year old rugrat, and flying around all day. The jumper I have paired with skirts and even a tulle for a nighttime look (Stay tuned for that one!)

IMG_5722

The jeans again are from Penneys (Primark) and are called “Boyfriend jeans”. Although in my opinion they are more fitted. They cost €15.

 IMG_5720

The jumper has a slashed neck which sits low on the shoulder, its so comfortable, its also slightly fitted on the bottom not giving it too slouchy a look!

rsz_img_5722 (2)

The heels again are Penneys (Primark) and are €11.

IMG_5710

Overall its a nice casual look for a lazy relaxing day, and grey is so big this season!

Hope you liked it

Until next time
