Day to night tops!

FashionMy StyleUncategorized

littlewoods Top

Day to night tops are hard come by and when you find one my advise is nab it! This is a great one as its smart for during the day but equally as stylish for a night out with the girls straight after work!

Littlewoods Ireland

I love the lace in the top but I also love the white collar even more, it makes it the perfect day to night top. A monochrome look never dates and this top can be worn with tailored black trousers also. Its from Littlewoods Ireland and designed by none other than Myleene Klass its reduced here to €40.50 here.

Here’s a closer look at the top..it has see through sleeves and is see through half way down the back, its so elegant and the fit is true to size. The quality is excellent and very comfortable on. I have also worn this with blue jeans for a more casual look.

Freddy Leathers

Again I am living in this Freddy leather trousers, I can honestly say they were a great buy, I have got more than the price per wear on these. So I’d highly recommend them if you are even considering buying them. The heels are Penneys’ and a great buy as they go with loads in the wardrobe.  This top would look good tucked into a black skater skirt. To finish this look above, I always throw on a camel coat with it and it looks very smart and chic at the same time.

Grey jeans and How to style them: Part 2

FashionMy Style

Grey jeans as you know I have styled with all grey everything in my last post…this time I’ve decided to wear it a different way and to show you how easy it is to style these type of coloured jeans.

Oasis Leather Jacket

On any given day during the week its always nice to dress down, and stay comfy and casual. You’ve heard me mention school runs numerous times and this is one look with the grey jeans I usually go for first thing in the morning. Leather jackets with grey jeans always look good at anytime.

Primark Tshirt

This leather jacket is quiet old, it was a Christmas gift and its by Oasis Clothing. The beauty with Oasis is they make clothes to last and this leather jacket is lasting a lifetime. I love it, it has fur on the collar that is removable, which is an added bonus as its like two jackets in one! You will find Penneys have a similar jacket minus the fur for €23 and they are a lovely fit or you will find similar from Oasis here for €65.

Leather Jacket

I also paired it with a simple grey t-shirt from Primark, its from last year but they have restocked them since. I love these type of tshirt as they dont stick to your body and are loose yet have a little structure. HM are great for these type tshirts and you’ll find them for €7.99 here They are great t-shirts for any type of jeans.

Grey Jeans

I’m wearing the same grey jeans as in the previous post but you can find similar here from H&M and Noisy may

The boots are River Island and I live in these, they are extremely comfy and go with everything and are instore and available here

So my advise girls is go get those grey jeans you wont regret it!

My Style and a little boutique in the south east!

Girls

You all know I’m all about affordable fashion and supporting local boutiques or not even local but Irish owned Boutiques.. I’ve said it so many times, everyone should pop into their local boutiques, you’ll be surprised what you’ll find and how inexpensive it can be…Everyone has this misconception that boutiques are expensive…yes some are but the majority of our Irish owned boutiques aren’t and you can find some lovely affordable pieces for any occasion. Times have changed and I have got some gorgeous pieces in the last few years from Irish owned Boutiques…

If you saw on my Facebook page the other night, I popped into a little gem of a shop located in the south east of Ireland, and discovered some beautiful pieces. In the thriving town of Dungarvan lies a Boutique called Signet-Boutique  it’s so pretty, they have an amazing collection and you’ll always find something that little bit special here. I’m lucky I visit Dungarvan a lot as my lovely sister lives there, so its hard not to pop into it when I’m visiting! Finola and the girls are incredibly helpful and so lovely. Last Saturday I popped in for a quick look, and let me tell you its never quick as you’ll be seduced by the stock!! So here’s a look at what I picked up ….

Crop pic of top

I adore this top from Signet its one of those tops that is perfect for a night out or catch up with the girls during the daytime/evening time, its dressy but can be worn casual. The detail on this top is incredible. I love the bow part and hems on the sleeves as they are all sequins while the rest of the top is a t-shirt type material. It is the most comfiest top I’ve worn. At  €59.99 it definitely looks a lot more!!

IMG_7150

I paired the Top with my Freddy Leathers which you may have noticed I wear to death, I didn’t pick the leathers up in Signet but guess what ladies? Signet stock the freddy jeans and leathers!! Another good reason for you to pop in!!

IMG_7141

Anytime I wear these leather pants I’m inundated with questions about them! They are extremely comfy and true to size.

Crop pic of heels

The heels are my all time bargain, picked these up in Penneys for €16 .. love them!

So girls do pop into Signet if you live or are down near the area, I promise you won’t be disappointed, they are also on facebook and I’m pretty sure they’ll take orders online!! This top is only one of many fabulous pieces they have in stock. Their link is here

The suede Trench Coat..

FashionMy Style

IMG_6498

So suede has gone crazy for winter, and huge this season…its everywhere and on every item of clothing be it tops, skirts, dresses jackets and coats. Its so nice and I opted for a suede trench coat. Its the texture and the warmth of it that sold it for me. Albeit lets hope the rain doesnt hit it 🙂

IMG_6504

For this look I paired it with my River Island leathers, again I purchased them last year but they still have them as they restock every year and you’ll find them in store and here. I also picked these boots up from TK Maxx, they are guess boots and were a steal at €45!

IMG_6509

Its the back of this trench that I love the way its shaped and the style of it. I like that its got a waterfall front too…I have paired it with Nike trainers too and looks just as good. This Coat is available from Vanilla Boutique and is now reduced in their sale for €45 a bargain!!

Pics are by Emer Irish Fashaholic who is a doll and we always have so much fun.

Hope you like the look

Christmas Nights out Mid Week!

Uncategorized

Hey Girls

So as you know there’s going to be tonnes and tonnes of Christmas parties from here on in!! Now for me, if I’m honest this isn’t the case! Mumslife!! Christ my 5 year old has more of a social life than I do 🙂

But there is one or two random mid week nights I have coming up..hence what to wear for a night out mid week??

So this is what I’m going with..Its dressy but simple! Nothing too over the top if its not a Friday/Saturday night..

IMG_6526

Leather pants and a Faux Fur coat..perfect to dress anything up!! And gorgeous and warm for these chilly nights. Like I said its simple and chic.

IMG_6539

I paired the pants with a Lace Shirt from Penneys for €10 which is a bargain as its so comfy and great quality.

IMG_6531

The fabulous Pink & Grey Faux Fur Jacket is from Love Cherish I adore it ..its so comfy and quiet heavy…glammy too! It was €105 which is great value for the quality and they have some in store, so contact the gorgeous girls on 063 21830.

IMG_6525

I adore these watches from Sundial Watches, they are stunning. The unique difference to these watches is they are solar powered. They are beautifully finished and would be the perfect christmas gift. The thing I love most about Sundial watches is they are owned by an Irish Company Calcul based in Shannon, and you know how I feel about supporing local Irish businesses. All the details on how to contact them is on the link above! I was lucky enough to win a competition for one of these pieces (From Yummy Mummy Blog) but I’ve added a few more of their designs on my wishlist for hubbie 😉 A girl can never have enough watches right??

IMG_6540

The pants are the infamous Freddy Jeans, and boy are these leathers amazing..I adore them and they fit perfectly! I got these from my hubbie for my birthday after tormenting him about them for an age! The shoes I got about two years ago from Milanoo delivered for the total sum of €35 I kid you not!!! They are fab! Cari’s Closet are doing these I believe and Penneys have launched similar ones in nude and also a black colour for €19. The YSL Clutch I picked up from Depop and if you re not familiar with this site girls, I recommend you do, as you can pick up some new barely worn high street, designer and vintage pieces for great prices..

All pics are by Emer@Irish Fashaholic and thanks so much to Maeve @LoveCherish for collaborating with me on the Fur Coat!

If you girls have any questions just ask

Until next time

How to dress a tulle skirt!

FashionMy Style

IMG_5731

It was all the rage last year and still sticking around this year but perhaps in darker colours…none the less the tulle skirt is here to stay!

I love a tulle skirt, always have a princess moment when I throw one on!! Notions!!! haha This beauty is from Hazel Comyn design. Hazel an Irish designer has amazing pieces and will be featuring her new collection at Cork Fashion week in the next few weeks. Find more beautiful pieces here

They are so feminine and can be worn anyway and still look fabulous. In this post and the next, I’ll share how I dress mine!!

IMG_5751

I love to throw sweatshirts or jumpers over them. And this is one of my favourite ways to wear them. Because a tulle is so dressy its nice to throw something casual on with them (If you don’t want to go all out!!). The beauty about Hazels tulle skirts is you can turn them inside out and wear it as a satin skirt, so its like getting two skirts for one!! Amazing!

IMG_5760

I paired it with this Penneys boat neck fine knit jumper, its just so comfy, goes nicely with the skirt as its not too fussy, just nice and plain. The earrings are parfois for €7.99. Hair was by the fabulous Aisling Kelleher who is a Freelance Bridal & Event hair specialist, I mean she literally done this upstyle in 2 mins no joke!! Shes amazing…find Aisling’s details here

IMG_5749

The shoes are old from New Look (Bit dressy for this outfit but I would also pair flats or white sneakers with this look) Similar heels here

IMG_5746

Pics are by Emer @Irishfashaholic, I can’t tell you enough how much fun we have during these days shooting, Emer has an amazing talent behind the lens!

Hope you guys like the look!
