Pink is the new black!

FashionFashion and Beauty BlogMy Style

IMG_6979

I am loving the spring colours creeping in but in particular all those candy/bubblegum pinks and hot pinks. They are such a lovely change from black and perfect for Spring/Summer. In fact I love all the bright colours that pop up around this time of the year. And with this dull weather I find it really refreshing. I tend to purchase things now for the summer wardrobe too. Main reason being, we never really get much of a summer here in Ireland but I hate to wear dark colours during the summertime even if the weather feels like its confused and cold!! Hence its always a good idea to pick up bright jumpers/Tops/coats now

The thing about pink is it goes with absolutely everything blue jeans/black/grey jeans, oh and so perfectly with white!

IMG_6988

Not only am I loving the pink but I adore all things frills at the moment, this little beauty above is Savida. Its like a sweatshirt material which I love but it can be dressed up. Dunnes Stores have really improved their branding and their style of clothing. This is from the Savida brand, which would have been regarded as a little more expensive but believe it or not this was €30 and is still available online here

IMG_6987

I choose to wear mind with my black leathers but I’m planning on wearing these with white jeans when it becomes acceptable to pull them out and as the weather gets dryer!

IMG_6991

The bag was a gift from hubbie as before and the heels are penneys as before also (They are current stock and €16)

There is some gorgeous pink clothing for this season girls so dont be afraid to try it out. Plus there is different options of hues in the colour pink, so something to suit every complexion

My Style and a little boutique in the south east!

FashionMy Style

IMG_7153

Girls

You all know I’m all about affordable fashion and supporting local boutiques or not even local but Irish owned Boutiques.. I’ve said it so many times, everyone should pop into their local boutiques, you’ll be surprised what you’ll find and how inexpensive it can be…Everyone has this misconception that boutiques are expensive…yes some are but the majority of our Irish owned boutiques aren’t and you can find some lovely affordable pieces for any occasion. Times have changed and I have got some gorgeous pieces in the last few years from Irish owned Boutiques…

If you saw on my Facebook page the other night, I popped into a little gem of a shop located in the south east of Ireland, and discovered some beautiful pieces. In the thriving town of Dungarvan lies a Boutique called Signet-Boutique  it’s so pretty, they have an amazing collection and you’ll always find something that little bit special here. I’m lucky I visit Dungarvan a lot as my lovely sister lives there, so its hard not to pop into it when I’m visiting! Finola and the girls are incredibly helpful and so lovely. Last Saturday I popped in for a quick look, and let me tell you its never quick as you’ll be seduced by the stock!! So here’s a look at what I picked up ….

Crop pic of top

I adore this top from Signet its one of those tops that is perfect for a night out or catch up with the girls during the daytime/evening time, its dressy but can be worn casual. The detail on this top is incredible. I love the bow part and hems on the sleeves as they are all sequins while the rest of the top is a t-shirt type material. It is the most comfiest top I’ve worn. At  €59.99 it definitely looks a lot more!!

IMG_7150

I paired the Top with my Freddy Leathers which you may have noticed I wear to death, I didn’t pick the leathers up in Signet but guess what ladies? Signet stock the freddy jeans and leathers!! Another good reason for you to pop in!!

IMG_7141

Anytime I wear these leather pants I’m inundated with questions about them! They are extremely comfy and true to size.

Crop pic of heels

The heels are my all time bargain, picked these up in Penneys for €16 .. love them!

So girls do pop into Signet if you live or are down near the area, I promise you won’t be disappointed, they are also on facebook and I’m pretty sure they’ll take orders online!! This top is only one of many fabulous pieces they have in stock. Their link is here

IMG_7157

Lots more looks in the pipeline and pretty busy for the next few weeks, but can I just thank Emer Irish Fashaholic for these amazing pictures. And how beautiful are the interiors in the Penthouse of the Clayton Hotel Cork City, want them for my own house :). I love working with Emer, always great fun and chats, and I wish her the best of luck with her new arrival on the way in a few weeks xx

Until next time

The suede Trench Coat..

FashionMy Style

IMG_6498

So suede has gone crazy for winter, and huge this season…its everywhere and on every item of clothing be it tops, skirts, dresses jackets and coats. Its so nice and I opted for a suede trench coat. Its the texture and the warmth of it that sold it for me. Albeit lets hope the rain doesnt hit it 🙂

IMG_6504

For this look I paired it with my River Island leathers, again I purchased them last year but they still have them as they restock every year and you’ll find them in store and here. I also picked these boots up from TK Maxx, they are guess boots and were a steal at €45!

IMG_6509

Its the back of this trench that I love the way its shaped and the style of it. I like that its got a waterfall front too…I have paired it with Nike trainers too and looks just as good. This Coat is available from Vanilla Boutique and is now reduced in their sale for €45 a bargain!!

Pics are by Emer Irish Fashaholic who is a doll and we always have so much fun.

Hope you like the look

My christmas party dress!

Fashion and Beauty BlogMy Style

IMG_6568

So there’s been lots of parties over the Christmas..loads of fun to be had…I had one already but we’ve a few planned from Stephens day onwards…now we can all be broke trying to buy some party dresses. But when I spotted this one in Penneys I thought yep this will definitely be worn loads over the Christmas!

IMG_6576

Its so comfy and reminds me a little bit of the self portrait dress except its incredible comfy and not a bit stiff the material that is! Its a lace style but it was the price that surprised me, at €25 it had to go in my wardrobe! It comes in a gorgeous wine colour too but I always think black never goes out of fashion, particularly a little black dress!

IMG_6581

The back of it is so lovely too its see through which makes it even nicer and I love the long sleeves.

IMG_6573

In fact I’m dressed head to toe in Penneys, the fur scarf is penneys last season but they have lots of other colours in stock at the moment..navy, mink, grey and lots of others! The shoes are penneys are so comfy the back detail in the heel is lovely with a lace up.

Hope you liked this look, its such a fun dress and at that price you cant leave it behind!

Until next time

Christmas day outfit -My Style

FashionFashion and Beauty BlogMy Style

So girls I know some of you aren’t fans of getting too dressed up over Christmas as in throwing on tulles, flouncy dresses etc for Christmas day…I could go either way depends on the mood…but as a rule I tend to dress up

This is something I pulled together and figured it would be a nice Christmas day outfit look, its not overly dressy and you can hide a whole christmas turkey underneath!! Bonus!

IMG_6475

The Jumper I picked up from one of my local boutiques Off The Rails Mitchelstown, the brand is new to the store which was recently acquired by Gill and they have beautiful stock. This jumper is unfortunately sold out but she has similar styles of the same brand.

IMG_6482

I love the style of this jumper, although you cant see it, the black trim of the sleeves, shoulders and the bottom is all velvet and the main material is a scuba material. The sleeves are also mesh which I love and it makes the whole jumper very dressy. You can also find similar here and equally dressy jumpers here,  here, and here

IMG_6481

The leather pants are the Freddy ones and you can purchase here. The heels are Dunnes Stores from last year. They were €30 but they have brought out a similar colour which is available in store or here.

IMG_6480

And finally I threw a fur scarf over my jumper, this one I picked up from Penneys last year but they have brought in other colours this year and are only €15.

Pics are by the ever talented Emer Irish Fashaholic we had so much fun shooting this look.

Hope you like it and again any questions just ask

More from the gem that is Love Cherish! Christmas outfits Part 2

FashionFashion and Beauty BlogMy Style

As promised Ladies, I did say I would follow up with some more beauts from Love Cherish…there was so much choice and I could only snap a few as I just didn’t the time to snap more, if we did poor Emer IrishFashaholic would be here all week, seriously Maeve has some selection of gorgeous dresses.

So who doesn’t love a red dress for Christmas?? Its funny, its one colour I really don’t wear. I used to think it wasn’t my colour but If I get the right hue I love it!!…The dress below was easily one of my favourites..its got a very self portrait look about it!! Super sexy but in a subtle way!

IMG_6585

I love the see through material on this dress and the lenght is divine, I paired it with a nude heel but you could also pair with black as its winter and a black fur stole to keep you warm..cream fur would work just as well! And Maeve has these gorgeous fur stoles in store! In fact she has all accessories for any outfit, no shortage of bags, jewellery or fur!

IMG_6599

I particularly loved the back as its just so pretty and again its the little details that makes this dress slightly different! It was unbelieveably comfy and the colour is so vibrant…

IMG_6592

As I mentioned in my previous post girls, the thing I really love about Love Cherish, is it has something for everyone and at affordable prices!! (All the more reason to support a local Irish owned Boutique!) This dress is priced at €70 which is unbelievable value!

Next up is a sparkly number, this I loved, it was the simplicity of it and it is gorgeous, would be perfect for any event

IMG_6609

Its a lovely lenght plus the shape and tunic style of this dress would hide anything unforgiving underneath 🙂 Trust me after two babies nothing is ever quiet the same again when it comes to your shape!

IMG_6604

This dress is also great value and is priced at €102!! Who can argue with that as it looks way more expensive…the beading is a pinky and rose gold colour which makes it even more unique…Definitely one to have in your wardrobe…

I had so much fun shooting these looks from Love Cherish, as I said Maeve and the girls are all gorgeous and extremely helpful. Since writing this post they’ve also received loads of new stock so go check them out, its a little gem of a boutique and Maeve is so lovely, one of those kind of girls you feel like you’ve know forever!

Pics are by Emer IrishFashaholic (need I say more about this gal!)

Hope you like, and any questions on the dresses just ask girls

Until then

Love Cherish…a little beauty in Charleville

FashionFashion and Beauty BlogMy StyleUncategorized

Well as you know, I have talked a million times about Love Cherish..when I first started this blog one of my earlier posts was on all the gorgeous local Boutiques in the county Cork..and Love Cherish was top of the list…since then we’ve had snapchat and I am becoming a personal stalker of Love Cherish’s snaps (@lovecherish1)..Not only have they the most divine stock but Maeve is hilarious..she’s gorgeous inside and out and if shes not unpacking mountain loads of dresses and clothes, you’ll find her dressing up & modelling the new arrivals..(which I love as its always nice to see the clothes on)  or mopping floors haha no joke!!!

IMG_6645 (1)

Love Cherish is beautiful though and the shop has recently located, the space and look of it, is all things girlie and fabulous…the girls are so helpful and friendly too…I was so delighted to collaborate with Maeve and Love Cherish, and the gorgeous Emer Irish Fashaholic took my pics (Its hard work trying to make me look half decent so Emer’s a genius really!!),  I’m excited to share the looks with you guys over the next few days..

As Christmas is coming we all have that special occasion where we need a wow dress…or a little sparkle! And this look was a pretty special combo I fell in love with …

IMG_6635

Maeve has stock that you literally drool over and this piece was no exception ..its actually not a dress but a two piece..

IMG_6640

This sequin top is a bodysuit and the most comfortable piece ever…its perfect for the festive season too and look at the back…

IMG_6644

The back is see through mesh but fear not ladies you could still wear a bra with this perhaps black and it will still look gorgeous!

IMG_6625

The tulle skirt is so dreamy and I felt like a right little princess floating around Charleville..(albeit I did get a few funny looks :)!! Bear in mind it was morning time shooting this look!)

The top is €49 and currently sold out but due back on the 16th of December, you need to contact them pretty fast to get on the list xx And the skirt is available and priced at €82. You can contact the girls on (063) 21830.

Even if you don’t live near Love Cherish you should follow them on facebook..their stock is amazing and there is something new every week…All beautiful stock that you can order over the phone which I have done several times… plus you re supporting a local Irish Boutique and the beauty about Love Cherish is its so affordable.

IMG_6629

A perfect outfit for a Christmas party, wedding or balls, so don’t hang around with this look girls as it’ll be gone!

More to come in the next few days

A little dress for all occassions!

FashionMy Style

We have that one dress we keep in the wardrobe that we can pull out for an occasions, and I’m not talking about a dress for a wedding etc. I’m talking about that one dress you can pull out if you have a family reunion dinner, a christening, a communion, or any type of occasion like that…more like a day time dressy occasion, (that is not a wedding) as we all have those type of events..

So I wanted to show you my one….and this is it! The one I’ll be pulling out of the wardrobe for any such occasion….

IMG_5795

The beauty about this dress is it looks like a skirt and top but its all in one…I can literally throw it on and head out the door. I love the easiness of it.

IMG_5823

Its a full navy coloured, swan design skirt and you can pair it with any type of heels…The back is button down which makes it that tiny bit different.

IMG_5828

Its a shirt type material on top which makes it very breathable and so comfy.

IMG_5806

The beauty of this dress girls is its on sale at the moment. This dress is from Vanilla Boutique . You can also wear these type of dresses for any occasion here, here here, & here

Heels were Littlewoods as before and Earrings Parfois.

Cork Fashion Hub ..What I wore

FashionMy Style

What a weekend ladies!!Phew Half dead after it 🙂

It was so quick but great fun….as you know from my snaps (@pamsfashion) Friday kicked off with Cork Fashion week.

It was a fantastic night in the Castlemartyr Hotel, with some amazing new Irish Designers showcasing their creations but I’ll have more on that later..

rsz_dsc_1247

I know a few of you were asking about my outfit for Day 2 of Cork fashion week, which was the Fashion Hub at Cork Opera House. So here’s the details!

I wore a coat from Vanilla Boutique, for more details contact the girls here  its a stunning piece and can also be worn as a dress.

rsz_dsc_1245

I popped a studded gold belt that I got a few years ago in mango around the waistband. The cuffs on this piece are so unique and matched the gold of the belt.

rsz_dsc_1326_2

The cuffs are almost like separate bracelets, I love them! The bag was a gift from my husband.

rsz_dsc_1249

The pants are Freddy jeans and you can buy them here

I will have a couple of more blog posts on Cork Fashion week with all the details on what we got up too.

Thanks to everyone for all the messages

Until next time
